I have been demonstrating on Biology courses at the Systems Biology and Life Sciences Interface Doctoral Training Centres, Oxdord. I have designed a syllabus, compiled teaching as well as extra reading materials and taught for the Genetics in Medicine summer school organised by Debate Chamber. Further Details:
I am very interested in bringing about social change through mass-awareness & volunteerism. I have helped in organising EMERGE 2010 - a social entrepreneurship conference. I have previously led a social-awareness campaign to raise awareness regarding the adverse environmental effects of immersion of Ganesh idols in stagnant water bodies - a problem unique to India (work with Jidnyasa - an NGO). I have also helped organise various treks, nature trails and tree-plantation drives through NGOs such as Jidnyasa and Hariyali. |
