Research Interests: 

Fluid Dynamics, in particular Stokes flow, slender body theory and viscoelasticity.

Flagellar Motility, with applications in modelling fertility dynamics.

Further Details: 

Department commitments include updating the Maths-In-Industry website, participating in study groups (Oxford, Warwick, Moscow, Limerick), being the OCCAM social secretary for 2 years, assisting at Graduate Open Days and captaining the RAMS cricket team.

College commitments range from being MCR President 2011-12 at St Catherine's College to being social secretary for both Exeter and Brasenose College, as well as a welfare officer, circuit trainer, bar officer, trained peer supporter, ski rep, ball committee member and head Freshers' rep.

Relevant work experience includes working at BP as a reservoir engineer plus numerous teaching placements listed above.

Interest wise, I am a keen skier, enjoy playing the piano and jamming with friends. I am usually up for trying anything; past activities have included kick boxing, rowing, pistol shooting, climbing, life drawing... anything goes!
