Research Interests:
I'm interested in the development and analysis of numerical methods for the approximation of geometric partial differential equations. Applications include the simulation of nematic liquid crystals, switching processes in bistable liquid crystal displays, as well as prediction of arrangements of lipid molecules and shapes of biomembranes. For more information about my current research project at the Oxford Center for Collaborative Mathematics, see here.
