Dr Iryna Schlackow

I currently work at the Health Economics Research Centre at the Department of Public Health, where I am involved in evaluation of cost-effectiveness of interventions aimed at cardiovascular disease risk reduction in patients with chronic renal insufficiency. Prior to that I worked as a statistician in the Infectious Diseases and Microbiology group of the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine, modelling various diseases trends with the purpose of creating a surveillance system, and before that my research interests lied in geometry of Banach spaces and in particular spaces with few operators, such as (weakly) Koszmider spaces, which is what I worked on during my DPhil.
