  Mathematical & Computational Finance at Oxford

• The Mathematical and Computational Finance Group at Oxford is one of the largest and most dynamic research environments in mathematical finance in the world with internationally recognised experts in core mathematical fields.
• Through permanent links with the Nomura Centre for Mathematical Finance and the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance, we foster lively interactions between researchers coming from different backgrounds and a truly impressive seminar programme.

 Mathematical & Computational Finance MSc

  Research - DPhil

• 10 month full-time intensive programme starting in September each year.
• Builds on a strong background in mathematics at an undergraduate level.
• Prepares students for a career in quantitative finance in the financial industry and/or for a research career in academia.

• 3-4 year doctoral programme. 
• Aimed at outstanding students with interests in Mathematical and/or Computational Finance.
• We welcome students with their own particular ideas of research topic as well as students with broad interest in the field of Mathematical Finance.

 Mathematical Finance MSc

  Short Courses

• Part-time programme delivered in just over two years, starting in January each year.
• Designed to be undertaken by those in full-time employment.
• Builds on a strong background in mathematics at an undergraduate level and practical experience of working within financial institutions.
• Enables students to progress their career in a more quantitative direction.

• Intensive, Oxford-based, four-day taught modules, available on a non-assessed, stand-alone basis.
• Modules are taken from the MSc in Mathematical Finance and cover topics such as Quantitative Risk Management, Advanced Modelling and Numerical Methods.
• Taught by members of academic staff at Oxford University and industrial practitioners.
