Graduate Open Day

Michaelmas Term 2011

There will be a Graduate Open Day on Wednesday 16th November 2011.

  • Why do a doctorate?

  • How to choose a University, subject and supervisor

  • Funding for students

  • Whether to choose an MSc

  • The Oxford set-up

  • Specific opportunities at Oxford

The afternoon will begin at 2pm, in Lecture Room 2, in the Mathematical Institute, with introductory talks and a question and answer session. This will be followed by an extended opportunity to talk to potential supervisors, MSc course coordinators, and current research students. Refreshments will be available.
