OpenVPN on Windows

We currently do not support OpenVPN on Windows versions prior to Windows 2000 (hence it will probably not work with Windows ME/98/95)

To use OpenVPN please download the VPN Package and execute it on your machine. Usually you would not need to change any settings offered by the installer (only do so if you know and understand what you are doing). For most users clicking "Next" every time should lead to success.

After the installation has finished, you should see a new icon in your system tray which looks like two computers with red monitors. If you double click that it will offer to connect to the Maths OpenVPN server. Once you enter your username and password in the corresponding fields, the VPN connection will be established and you should be able to access all internal services.

On certain machines, the establishment of the first connection after the installation may take a longer time. In case you experience problems connecting to services after that, just press the "Reconnect" button and all the problems should disappear.

You can also right click that icon to disconnect or get any further information.
