Zimbra Mac OS X Calendar and Address Book Sync

The Zimbra Connector for Apple iSync will configure iCal to access your Zimbra Calendar. It will also provide a way to automatically sync Zimbra's Address Book with the Mac OS X Address Book application.

1. Download the installer for the Apple iSync Connector.

2. Double click the zimbra-isync.pkg icon.

3. After installation, the Zimbra preference pane should open automatically. If the preference pane does not open, go to Mac OS X System Preferences. In the "Other" section, click Zimbra.

4. Click the Account tab and enter the following:

• Description: Mathematical Institute
• Server: zimbra.maths.ox.ac.uk
• Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): ticked
• Server Ports: this should change to 443
• User Name: your Maths username
• Password: your Maths password

5. Click the Sync tab and enter the following:

• Synchronize: Every 30 minutes
• Contacts: ticked
• Selected: ticked
• Contacts: ticked (but do not tick Emailed Contacts)
• Calendars: ticked
• Use CalDAV: ticked

6. Click Sync Now.
