New Mathematics Building
Opening Conference, October 3, 2013
To celebrate the opening of its new building, the Mathematical Institute is sponsoring a one-day conference on October 3, 2013. The lectures will be aimed at a general mathematical audience. The speakers will be

- Raymond Goldstein, Cambridge
- Sir Andrew Wiles, Oxford
The conference will follow on from the Clay Research Conference, which will be held in Oxford on October 2, 2013. Again the lectures will aimed at a general mathematical audience. The speakers at that event will be
- Peter Constantin, Princeton
- Lance Fortnow, Georgia Institute of Technology
- Fernando Rodriguez Villegas, Austin
- Edward Witten, IAS.
In the week September 29 - October 4, there will be a number of workshops in Oxford covering topics related to the conference at a more technical level.
