Interested in mathematics outreach? Talking Maths in Public is a 1.57-day maths outreach conference, happening on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd September 2017. If you already participate in, or would like to be more involved with, public engagement/outreach in mathematics (giving talks, performing at science festivals, visiting schools etc) we're hoping to gather together all the UK's best maths communicators, and we'd like to invite university staff and UG/PG students to join us so you can find out more about the field, attend training workshops and meet others in the area. Tickets for the event cost £55 including both days and all sessions and catering, plus on-site accommodation is available for £50 per night (single).
