Our research team is looking for individuals with mathematics skills and at least some teaching or tutoring experience to rate video-recorded lessons and/or lesson artefacts (e.g. visual displays, worksheets) for the TALIS Video Study.
This work requires a commitment of up to 12 weeks on a casual worker contract*. Training in rating procedures and instructions for data security will be provided. Work will typically take place in the University of Oxford, Department of Education. Training will commence in early November. Payment will be made on the University of Oxford Casual pay spine at £11.60 per hour. Informal interviews/screening is ongoing – get in touch soon if interested!
You will need to have:

  • B or above in A-level maths, or equivalent
  • Some teaching OR tutoring experience
  • Excellent English language fluency
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to follow rules and procedures for rating and information security
  • Good typing skills
  • Ability to be punctual & consistent in attending training & rating
  • Your own laptop and headphones
