University Lecturer in Pure Mathematics in association with Christ Church
The Mathematical Institute proposes to appoint a University Lecturer in Pure Mathematics with effect from 1 October 2010 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be offered a Tutorial Fellowship by Christ Church, under arrangements described in the further particulars. The salary will be on a scale up to £57,201 per annum with substantial additional benefits.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a PhD in mathematics and a research record in any branch of Pure Mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants working in Algebra or related areas of Geometry and Topology.
