We invite applications for an Operations Co-ordinator position, funded by Emirates-Oxford Data Science Lab, to work with Professor Peter Grindrod at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. This is a 1 year fixed-term position and is available for an immediate start.

The main remit of the Operations Coordinator is to support the day-to-day activities of the Lab. The Operations Coordinator must keep abreast of developments with the Strategic Partners (Emirates in the first instance) and be able to develop and foster excellent communication and trust. The postholder must also understand the department and the university and be able to liaise effectively with colleagues from a range of academic and service departments of the university.

The postholder will have excellent organisational skills, especially in event management, with an ability to plan and create robust office systems.  Strong numeracy skills together with experience of delivering high-quality customer service.
