We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position, funded by The Simons Foundation Grant to work with Professor Christopher Beem at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. This is a 2 year fixed term position and is available from 1 January 2018 or as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will work on research projects related to the grant, contribute ideas for new research projects and present detailed research proposals to senior collaborators.  They will also be given the opportunity to undertake teaching which will not exceed 3 hours per week for 24 weeks per annum.

Applicants should have a PhD/DPhil in Theoretical Physics or Mathematics together with expertise in quantum field theory, conformal field theory, supersymmetry, or topological field theory and a strong publication record.
