We invite applications for two Postdoctoral Research Associates, funded by the ERC, to work with Professors Fernando Alday and Sakura Schafer-Nameki at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford.  There are two positions available, one position for 4 years and one position for 3 years.  Both positions are available for an immediate start.

The successful candidates will be part of a research group exploring different aspects of conformal field theories, supersymmetric gauge theories and dualities and their geometric realization.  They will manage their own academic research and administrative acitivities, contribute ideas for new research project, collaborate in the preparation of research publications and present papers at conferences.

Applicants will be expected to have, or be close to completing, a PhD in theoretical or mathematical physics, possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes and the ability to manage their own academic research and associated activities.
