Research Interests:
Algebraic topology, in particular equivariant stable homotopy theory and topological quantum field theory. Teaching:
MT11 - TA for Topology and Groups Further Details:
My current research is on the scanning map, a homotopy equivalence between the configuration space of labelled particles on a manifold which can vanish in a compact submanifold and the section space of a certain fibre bundle associated to the tangent bundle of the manifold. The object of my research is to give a full and precise description of the scanning map and show that it is equivariant under the action of the diffeomorphism group of the underlying manifold. |
