A 3-day workshop bringing together leading researchers and early career researchers to discuss advances in the field.  The workshop was supported by the European Union’s innovative training network "Modelling and Computation of Shocks and Interfaces" under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 642768, the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Partial Differential Equations, and Oxford Solid Mechanics.
