Through the 'Data Sandbox' research competition, RSSB is planning to fund a number of academic-led feasibility studies to develop innovative solutions that can help the rail industry increase the reliability and capacity of the network. There is a launch event on Tuesday, 31 October where you can:
Meet industry leaders from train operators (Greater Anglia; Virgin West Coast; Arriva Trains Wales; South Western Railway; CrossCountry; Great Western Railway etc.), Network Rail and other organisations
Demonstrate how your research could answer some of their challenges (academics can prepare a poster or give an elevator pitch. Email us if interested
Network with other academics and form winning consortia.
