A two-day Workshop on "Nonlinear Analysis and the Physical and Biological Sciences" in honour of the late Jack Carr will be held at the ICMS, Edinburgh on 21 and 22 May 2018.
The Workshop will be opened by Sir Michael Atiyah (Edinburgh) and speakers include Sir John Ball (Oxford and Heriot-Watt), Costas Dafermos (Brown), Maria Esteban (Paris), Irene Fonseca (Carnegie-Mellon), and Laszlo Szekelyhidi (Leipzig). Postgraduates and postdocs are invited to present their work in a poster session. Details will be requested on registration.
