Make no mistake social media works for mathematics. Our Twitter and Facebook pages are entrees to our research, our outreach, our public lectures and much more. Twitter followers have passed 10,000.
This month we have been focusing on demystifying what we do, particularly the student experience. And it has been a big success. We filmed and put out a full undergraduate lecture, we put up past MAT questions, we tweeted a sample problem sheet, and we plan to film a real tutorial. It's all part of going behind the scenes.
