Registration (free but essential) is now open for the 'People, Places, Practices' Conference, the quinquennial joint meeting of the British Society for the History of Mathematics and the Canadian Society for the History and Philosophy of Mathematics.

We have a very full programme of around 100 invited and contributed talks and activities, extending over the afternoon and early evening of 4 days (British Summer Time).

Brendan Larvor (University of Hertfordshire): "Mathematical Memes in the Age of Reason: the limits of understanding and the understanding of limits"
