Actions of Non-Abelian Groups and Measure Rigidity
Wednesday 30th June 17.30 BST

Measure rigidity theorems (especially Ratner's theorem) have played a big role in dynamics, with many applications outside the field. Traditionally problems of this type have been considered in the context of homogeneous dynamics and other systems with a lot of structure. In this talk I will discuss a circle of ideas which suggests that, under some conditions, some measure rigidity theorems may hold for general smooth actions of non-abelian groups.

We would like to extend a warm invitation to eveyone to attend this special online talk. Please note, the talk will not be open to the public, so we ask that you kindly refrain from circulating this notice.

If you are interested in attending, please complete the short registration form. The Zoom link to the talk will be sent out to registered participants only the day before. Those attending the Summer School do not need to register.
