The School of Mathematics, University of Bristol, is seeking to appoint one or more Lecturers in Applied Mathematics. A Lecturer holds an indefinite appointment roughly equivalent to an Assistant or Associate Professor in the USA. We seek an outstanding applied mathematician/theoretical physicist that supports or complements the research activities of the Institute for Applied Mathematics. Currently, the Institute has research activity in soft matter, theoretical biophysics, complex materials, dynamical systems and fluid dynamics.
