The Centre de Recerca Matemàtica Industrial Mathematics Group has a postdoc position in Industrial Mathematics. The researcher will join the project 'Environmental applications of diffusion with a moving boundary'. The project focus is on the analysis and solution of advection-diffusion systems to model contaminant removal, such as carbon/greenhouse gas capture or remediation of drinking water, and heat flow in green roofs. The work will be in collaboration with experimental partners in both Spain and South Africa. The deadline for applications is 15th January 2022 with a March 2022 start.
