Upper Austrian Government Studentship in Stochastic Simulation and Computational Finance

Applications are invited for a 3.5 year D.Phil. Studentship in Mathematics, funded by the Upper Austrian Government, to work on a project in the field of Stochastic Simulation and Computational Finance. The primary supervisor in Oxford is Professor Christoph Reisinger (Mathematical Institute), while external supervision will be provided by Professor Gerhard Larcher (Johannes Kepler University Linz) and Professor Gunther Leobacher (Karl Franzens University Graz).

We invite applications for two Postdoctoral Research Assistants to undertake research in battery modeling within the Multi-Scale Mathematical Modeling Fast Start Project of the Faraday Institution to work with Professors S.J. Chapman and C.P. Please at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. These positions are fixed-term until the end of the project (28 February 2021).

The Mathematical Institute is seeking to appoint a Schools Liaison Officer and Admissions Co-ordinator.  The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and proactive individual with the ability to think strategically and communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of people and will be responsible for supporting the departmental aspects of the admissions process, including co-ordinating the admissions test.

We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position, funded by EPSRC and the Royal Society to work with Dr Ian Griffiths in the Mathematical Institute.  This is a 10 month fixed-term position and is available for an immediate start.
