Pembroke College wishes to appoint an eight-hour Stipendiary Lecturer in Pure Mathematics, for the period 1st September 2009 to 31st August 2010, with the possibility of renewal for the following academic year. The successful candidate will be required to teach a range of topics, mostly in Pure Mathematics. In addition to the eight hours of tutorial teaching, the lecturer will be required to work in conjunction with the Fellows in Mathematics in arranging teaching and in the admissions process. The stipend for this post will be £16,101 to £18,122 per annum depending on experience and the lecturer will be provided with shared use of a teaching room. In addition, the successful applicant will be entitled to a Tutors Allowance and certain lunching and dining rights.
