We are seeking talented postdoctoral researchers to take up Hooke and Titchmarsh Fellowships. These prestigious Fellowships are full-time, and fixed-term for up to 36 months. They provide an ideal opportunity for candidates to pursue an independent research programme, and to join a large existing cohort of leading researchers on Fellowship programmes at the Mathematical Institute.

There will be up to six appointments made across the Hooke and Titchmarsh Fellowships in this recruitment, including one position for a Titchmarsh Research Fellow in Mathematical Physics which will be advertised separately (see below). Applications for job shares or for part-time working to accommodate family circumstances will be considered.

We also invite applications for two Postdoctoral Research Associates to work with Professor Stuart White. These are three-year, fixed-term positions, funded by a research grant from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). We anticipate a starting date for the positions at the start of the academic year 2023-24. The earliest starting date for both positions is 1st September 2023.

In addition, we invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate with a background in number theory, to work alongside Professor James Newton. The position is full time, and fixed-term for two years. We anticipate a starting date at the start of the academic year 2023-24.
