Are you applying for internships, jobs or PhD positions at the moment? The Oxford Careers Service has lots of great resources, which we'd like to highlight this week!
Internships
The Careers Service Internship Office runs a range of highly successful internship programmes, learning and development experiences and mentoring opportunities to support Oxford students in securing work experience. They happen throughout the year and are based in the UK and across the globe. They also provide associated funding and support. Students may be particularly interested in the Summer Internship Programme and the Micro-Internship Programme. The Careers Service also offers 20-minute support sessions specifically for applying to these internship programmes.
The Careers Service also runs The Oxford Strategy Challenge, in which participants work as part of a team and take part in real strategy-focused client challenges over the course of a week.
Further Study
The Careers Service website offers a great deal of advice on further study both in the UK and abroad. This includes types of postgraduate course, writing personal statements, and links to external resources for Master's and PhD programmes. The Insight into Academia seminar series might also be useful for students considering postgraduate study.

Advice appointments
Advice appointments are 20-minute sessions with Careers advisors, currently held online (usually via Teams). There are a wide variety of appointments, including:

- Public Sector Graduate Schemes: Interview & Assessment Centre Practice
- Disability Careers Adviser Appointments
