Oxford Global is the Oxford student and alumni social enterprise dedicated to expanding access to educational events and equipping young people with the tools they need to address global challenges.

We are looking for graduate students with an interest in teaching to join us for our online event, Academic Summit for Young Leaders (ASYL), to be held online in partnership with ASDAN China from January 25th to February 1st.  ASYL consists of intensive short courses designed to give high school students the opportunity to learn in depth about topics and subjects that they would not normally have the chance to engage with at school.

ASYL will consist of four subject streams: Mathematics, Psychology, Neuroscience, and Chemistry. Each of these streams will have one stream leader who gives lectures on the topics, and three facilitators whose job it is to attend the lectures alongside the participants, and then engage in discussion with and assist the participants in the problem-solving sessions that follow those lectures.  Facilitators are expected to be studying a subject related to the stream so that they are able to provide the students with useful advice and assistance.

The payment offered to facilitators will be £200. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email us at @email, using the subject heading ‘Academic Summit for Young Leaders’, and give us your name, the name of your course, the stream you would be interested in facilitating, and a brief overview of any related experience you have and your motivation to apply (just a paragraph or so is fine). We will then reply with further information.
