The Ocean Education and Research Group (OERG) at Trinity College Dublin would like to announce openings for PhD positions in our new project ‘Life in the Currents (LIC)’ funded by Prendergast Challenge-Based Awards. Duration is 48 months (starting on 1st September 2023 at the latest). LIC is a multidisciplinary collaboration along two strands, one led by the ocean/geosciences and ecology, and the other led by environmental history and historical geography involving the following Schools: Computer Science and Statistics, Engineering, Geography, History, Mathematics and Zoology. The common thread is to increase our understanding of historical indicators, changes, drivers, and modelling in the Northeast Atlantic.
