The MPLS Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) is seeking a team of module leaders in Statistics and Data Management to join it for Michaelmas Term 23. This module is primarily attended by doctoral students enrolled in the BBSRC-funded Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP and the NERC-funded Environmental Research DTP.
It is an established 3-week module, normally taken by 40-50 DPhil students, and this year it runs full-time from 13 November 2023 to 1 December 2023, taught in R. This opportunity is likely to be particularly relevant to postdoctoral researchers and research fellows or equivalent, who are highly motivated to communicate their knowledge and enthusiasm for statistics to graduate students, and who are seeking to further develop their teaching and administrative experience.
