OxFirst (www.oxfirst.com) was founded over a decade ago by scholars from Oxford University and we provide economic assessments to law firms, high technology companies, public policy makers and international organizations on the interplay of technology, IP and international economics. Our studies, research and reports have served as baseline of key decisions on technology and innovation strategy in the World Bank, the UK Government, but also in firms like Google, Intel or Allen & Overy.
We are keen to expand the team and eager to bring in young talent. Having been an academic myself for many years, I find it very rewarding to help students and recent students take the next step in their career and help them formulate their thoughts and ideas around technology and innovation.
The type of people we are looking for are creative thinkers, eager to make a difference to the world of innovation and with a flair for lateral thinking. Quantitative skills and good writing capabilities would be very desirable.
As to the entry level we are quite flexible and can bring in students at the associate (permanent level), part time level or as interns or research assistants. I believe we can offer a competitive salary as well.
We are based in Oxford and London and these opportunities are for our London office.
