This year the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) returns to the Big Bang Fair, which is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths for young people in the UK. This year it takes place on Wednesday 21 - Friday 23 June 2023 at the Birmingham NEC. The Fair’s aim is to show young people (aged 11 - 14) how many exciting and rewarding opportunities there are out there for them with the right experience and qualifications.
We are a very small Team at the IMA and are looking for help to run the following activities:
• The legendary 'Can you beat the Cube'?
• Galton Board
• Soap Bubbles
• Aerofoil
• Bernoulli Blower
In return for your time, you will receive £10.42 per hour worked and we will reimburse travel expenses of up to £12.50 per day.
