OSPL is the publication company in charge of Cherwell, ISIS, the Oxford Scientist, Industry, and PHASER. We are 100% independent and student run, operating for nearly 60 years—in fact, we are the only student-managed publishing company in the country. We focus on the business vision and the technical operations; this includes strategizing about long-term sustainability, securing alternate forms of revenue, running the website backends, managing the financial accounts, engaging with alumni, and coordinating termly operations like physical and digital publishing.
Mathematics students may be particularly interested in joining the team through our technology or finance roles—more information is available in the link below. No business or publishing experience is required, just an ability to learn new skills and tasks independently and as a team. All roles are designed to be manageable alongside your degree.
