The very first programme of its kind at Oxford, the Vice-Chancellor’s Colloquium: Climate is a new cross-curricular opportunity for undergraduate students on degree and award-bearing courses, enabling opportunities to build skills outside their core subject area.
Starting in Hilary term, this new programme will bring together leading Oxford academics and interdisciplinary student teams to respond to big questions about the causes, impacts and solutions to the global climate crisis. This will take place through lectures, group discussions and interdisciplinary projects, which will supplement existing studies without requiring a significant time commitment.
We would like to encourage our undergraduate students to express their interest to join the programme via this form. Places for the Colloquium will be limited, so please register before the deadline of Sunday 19 November! (Places will be allocated randomly if oversubscribed.)
