General
Cranes & Hoist:- The service modules (pre-assembled pipes, ducts and wire trays on a metal frame) continue to be delivered, before carefully being lowered by crane through an access hole into the lower floors. This will be followed by plant deliveries.
North Building:- The main structure of the north building is now complete allowing the wall cladding and atrium roof to progress in this area.
Future works for September
Steel Bridge, Stair & Columns:- Remaining steel columns in the entrance have been installed. Steel bridges have been fixed into position in the south minor atrium and continue into the south major in the next month. Steel staircases in north have been installed in the atrium.
Blockwork:- Remaining perimeter walls in the basement and mezzanine will continue until mid September.
3rd Floor:- The remaining pour 34B on the south is expected to be concreted on 24/8/2012. All of the 3rd floor slabs will be complete before the end August.
4th Floor:- The 1st pour on the south was concreted on 16/8/2012. The last pour is expected to be poured in early September.
5th Level Roof:- The roof is expected to be complete towards the end of September.
Waterproofing & Flat Roof:- Rock have almost waterproofed the ground floor perimeter of the building, allowing the insulation and firm topping to commence.
Ceiling insulation:- Plasterboard contractor CG Reynolds have continued with basement ceiling insulation in the north and south buildings.
Lifts:- The lift contractor Thyssen continues with the car lift in the north being the first installation.
Mechanical & Electrical:- Services contractor Crownhouse continue with internal drainage from the north to the centre on the basement level. Ductwork & sprinklers have also commenced in the north and service modules have been lifted and fixed in the ceiling of the basement.
