At a Considerate Constructors Scheme's National Site Awards ceremony yesterday the Mathematical Institute project received a gold award and also a runners-up award for the Most Considerate Site 2013. This places the Mathematical Institute project within the top 25 in the country out of approximately 8000 in total. The award was collected on behalf of the team by Mick Sheehan, Steve Hollands and Phil Larkin from Laing O'Rourke, Richard Todd from PDCM and Keith Gillow from the Mathematical Institute. The preceeding day the neighbouring Radcliffe Infirmary refurbishment project also won a gold award and a runners-up award for Most Considerate Site 2013.
