Part B & C students: Please keep an eye on the timetables and check Moodle regularly for updates on revision lectures and consultation sessions.
For those of you getting your revision underway, it may be useful to consult the Past Paper Archive, if you haven't done so already. The link to the Archive can be found on the Mathematical Institute website.
As you all may know, exams are approaching in Trinity term. Therefore, it's good to start planning ahead!
Registration for mock in-person exam sessions opened in late December. The sessions will provide students with an opportunity to complete a past paper in the Examinations Schools, in an invigilated environment. They will be held in both Hilary and Trinity term (weeks 3).
In-person mock exams will be taking place at the Examination Schools in Week 3. Mock exams are an excellent way to familiarise yourself with your exam venue, exam regulations and to trial approved exam adjustments. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have in relation to your exams. Places are limited so reserve a place whilst you still can:
This year students on Parts B+C, OMMS and MTP are able to take A4 Summary Sheets into examinations with them (please see the example below!). The Department has put together some guidance for students creating their summary sheets here and the Academic Admin team can be contacted with any further queries.
The Online Assessments Page has all the information needed to successfully submit your coursework, including a Quick Reference Guide. In addition, this short video walks you through the final step of pressing ‘Submit now’ to ensure that your work reaches your examiners.
Many of you will be new to sitting in person exams this year, so here's an opportunity to have a trial run at Exam Schools.
