Random Walks - the Mathematics of the Ashmolean

Oxford Mathematics and the Ashmolean Museum have joined forces to demonstrate the history of mathematics and the mathematics of history. Over the three films, Oxford Mathematicians roam the Museum, stopping to take in the mathematics of Babylonian tablets, the joy of maps and the beauty and symmetry of ancient tiles. Each of the films demonstrates the beauty of art and the mystery of mathematics. Or rather the beauty and mystery of both.
