Mathematical Physics Group

Welcome to the web pages of the Mathematical Physics Group. We are part of the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford.

The group's research is centred around quantum theory and general relativity and programmes whose aim is to combine the two, particularly string theory and twistor theory.  You can find out more about individual members and their research interests by looking at their web page, which can be accessed from our People page.

Parts of the group have been taking part in the Networks `European Network in Geometry Mathematical Physics and Applications (ENIGMA)',  and `Methods of Integrable Systems and Applied Maths (MISGAM) and `Algebraic geometry, boundary conformal field theory and non-commutative geometry (ABC-KLM)'  research networks linking several groups across Europe.
