The 63rd British Applied Mathematics Colloquium (BAMC) will be held 11th-13th April 2022 at Loughborough University. We are organising a hybrid conference with events predominately in person, but enabling online participation.

Applications are now open for the 2022 STEM for Britain competition, which is a poster competition for early-stage researchers which is held in the Houses of Parliament. This may be of interest to early career colleagues, post-docs, or postgraduate students; the competition's FAQ define early career as "MSc, PhD, Post Docs, Research Assistants or Fellows, recently-appointed lecturers, part-time and “mature” students and their equivalents in national, public sector and industrial laboratories, or companies".

Kovalevskaya grants support early career mathematicians to attend the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM 2022) to be held on 6-14 July 2022 in St. Petersburg, Russia. These grants provide registration fee waiver, accommodation for the duration of the Congress, welcome reception, gala dinner, lunches, local transportation and the cultural programme. All Congress participants will be eligible to apply for a visa-free entry to Russia.

The London Mathematical Society would like to invite nominations for the following prizes in 2022, which are intended to recognise and celebrate achievements in and contributions to mathematics:

The LMS Computer Science Colloquium is an annual online event, which includes themed talks on a topical issue at the interface of mathematics and computer science.

The University of Manchester
Senior Lecturer, Reader or Professor in Pure Mathematics (two posts)

Applications are now invited for two positions in Pure Mathematics at Senior Lecturer, Reader or Professorial level. Applicants are sought in any area of pure mathematics that complements or extends existing expertise in the Department.

The 2021 Clay Research Conference will be held online on Thursday, 30 September, live-streamed from the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton. The plenary speakers are:

László Székelyhidi, Institute for Advanced Study and Leipzig University
Edward Witten, Institute for Advanced Study

Saturday 23 October, 13.00-17.00

Online via Zoom

The conference will interest mathematicians early in their career, in academia and industry, students of mathematical sciences, as well as those with an interest in the subject. It will feature plenary talks from distinguished speakers covering a wide range of subjects, as well as activities to allow for interaction among the attendees and speakers.
