Fully Funded PhD positions at ETH Zürich

DISCO@ETH Zürich, Switzerland, invites applications for fully funded PhD positions from applicants with background in mathematics, theoretical computer science, machine learning, or a related field. PhD students at DISCO pursue individual projects that are formulated within the first year of their PhD. Our current areas of interest include

• theory and networks (financial networks, e-democracy, voting, social networks, online analysis with delay, theory of distributed algorithms). 
• deep learning (graph neural networks, neural networks for logical reasoning, disentanglement, and natural language processing), 
• distributed systems (fault-tolerance, blockchains, consensus, cryptocurrencies, digital money, cbdc, decentralized finance),
