Talking Maths in Public is a conference for people who work in or otherwise participate in communicating mathematics to the public. There will be two days of workshops, talks and more, and is available to attend in person or online.

The conference runs in the UK every two years. The event is independently organised, and funded by ticket sales and grants from mathematical institutions. Our events in 2017, 2019 and 2021 (online) all fully sold out and were highly rated by attendees.

The cost to attend is £125 for the full three day programme, and there are bursaries available. Remote tickets cost £30.

The event is taking place in the Herschel building at the University of Newcastle.
