Enrolment for Michaelmas term courses in Modern Languages and Academic English at the Language Centre is open until 12 noon on Wednesday of Week 1 (15 October). Classes take place weekly, online or in person, with many lunchtime and evening sessions on offer.
Our Modern Languages classes are open to all. Choose from a variety of modern languages: Arabic, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Courses are on offer from beginner to advanced levels. Full funding is available for students who need to learn a language to support their academic studies. Our Academic English courses are designed to support students with their spoken and written communication, including those preparing to write a Thesis or Dissertation.
