The Knowledge Exchange (KE) Hub for Mathematical Sciences led by our own Chris Breward has been named Knowledge Exchange (KE) Team of the Year 2025 at the KE Awards held in Salford last week.
The KE Hub is part of the UK’s national Mathematical Sciences infrastructure and exists to promote, facilitate, and support knowledge exchange activities between Academia and Business, Industry & Government. Learn more about the team here.
Kira Patel, now a 4th year mathematics undergraduate, won the prize for the best Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Vacation Internships poster at the EPSRC Poster Event on November 6th. Kira's poster title was 'A viscous catenary in glass tube manufacture'. She was supervised by Peter Howell.
