At the close of his sixteenth and final Dynamics student lecture, Derek Moulton gives a three-minute summary of why Dynamics is a big deal. It's a tour de 'force'.

To celebrate the publication in December 2025 of the book below, Steven Balbus (Savilian Professor 2012–24) and Robin Wilson are organising this one-day meeting at Green Templeton College in which the authors of this book and others will present the 400-year history of the Savilian Chair of Astronomy.

We would like to invite you to attend this meeting. There is no conference fee. If you wish to attend, please pre-register on this form no later than 1^st September.  Please note numbers are limited and registration will be closed when we reach capacity.
