Areas of responsibility amongst Finance Team members are as follows:
Liz Cody – Finance Manager
The Finance Manager has responsibility for the Department’s financial administration. This includes financial reporting, monitoring, forecasting and budgeting as well as ensuring the overall effectiveness of financial processes and controls and advising on financial policies and procedures.
Olawale Balogun – Finance Officer

The Finance Officer (GL) has responsibility for managing the Department’s finance support services including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and eExpenses. He has specific monitoring responsibility for cost centre budgets including External Relations, Events Management and Academic Administration.
Katie Christoffers – Senior Finance Officer (Research Projects & Studentships)
Responsible for post-award management of the Department’s externally and internally-funded research projects including: advising on funders' terms and conditions, answering queries from principal investigators and grant holders, liaising with funders on post-award matters and academic and financial reporting.
Wei Qian - Finance Officer (Studentships & Research Projects)
The Finance Officer (Studentships & Research Projects) has responsibility for managing the department’s portfolio of funding for studentships. This includes setting and monitoring the annual budget for studentship cost centres, managing the DPhil Travel Fund and the payment of maintenance grants to students.
Kefei Liang – Finance Officer
The Deputy Finance Officer (GL) has responsibility for the financial administration of the online store and conference income and expenditure. She is the main department contact for all Key Travel business and the lead departmental user for the University travel insurance system. She has specific monitoring responsibility for cost centre budgets including Facilities and Information Technology.
Amanda Howard – Accounts Assistant
The Finance Assistant assumes responsibility for the majority of day-to-day transactions such as raising requisitions and purchase orders; processing delivery notes, invoices and travel claims; raising sales invoices and routine processing of journals.
Michalina McKoy – Accounts Assistant
The Finance Assistant assumes responsibility for the majority of day-to-day transactions such as raising requisitions and purchase orders; processing delivery notes, invoices and travel claims; raising sales invoices and routine processing of journals.
