It's World Mental Heath Day on Sunday 10 October, and to better support the mental health and wellbeing of staff and students, we have recently appointed a cohort of Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) who completed their training in July. Mental Health First Aiders provide an extra layer of support within the department. They are trained to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing poor mental health by listening, reassuring, responding, and signposting people to appropriate internal and external support. Please do not hesitate to get in touch for a confidential chat or if you’d like to know more about what we do!
