We are running CoderDojo Oxford at the Mathematical Institute 11am – 1pm on the following Saturdays:14 September & 12 October.
Coderdojo is a free youth club for children age 7 to 17 where they can learn to code, show off what they are doing and have fun! Attendance is free but places are limited and must be booked via Eventbrite. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the club. Please bring a laptop and power supply.
CoderDojo Oxford is run by volunteer mentors who assist the children with their projects, for example in Web design (HTML, CSS), Games design (Unity 2D/3D), Scratch and Raspberry Pi (Python).
We always need mentors who can help out on the day - even a basic level of computer coding knowledge goes a long way. Please contact us via the website, or sign up via Eventbrite if you would like to help out.
Tea, coffee and cold drinks are provided for all – please bring a cup!
