First of all an apology for saying there was no 'Fridays' last week and suggesting the Florence Nightinglae lecture was taking its place. Wrong on both counts. There was a 'Fridays' and Florence is on 23rd Feb in Stats (when there is also a Fridays@4).
This week, today, Oxford University Innovation, the University’s commercialisation team, will explain the support they can give to Maths researchers who want to generate commercial impact from their work and expertise. In addition to an overview of consulting, this talk will explain how mathematical techniques and software can be protected and commercialised.
